Why does the magnetic pump appear "demagnetized"?

Why does the magnetic pump appear 14 May

Magnetic pumps are often used to transport flammable, explosive or toxic and corrosive gas and liquids. For safety reasons, the sealing requirements of the pump are very high. It is a test. The stainless steel magnetic pump uses anti-acid corrosion material in a targeted manner, and optimizes the material of the isolation sleeve in terms of sealing to ensure that the medium does not leak a drop during transportation.

On the whole, the models of magnetic pumps are very rich, which can meet a variety of complex working conditions and use requirements. It is recommended that users choose according to their own specific conditions, mainly according to the parameters of the required transportation medium, pipeline design, and working environment. and other factors to make a comprehensive selection.

From the experience of magnetic pump transportation, the main reasons for the "demagnetization" of the magnetic pump are:

1. High temperature degaussing

The magnetic pump has a unique structure. It mainly relies on the medium to achieve lubrication and cooling during operation. If the material is removed due to abnormal working conditions during operation, the pump chamber will heat up rapidly and demagnetize at high temperature. Therefore, if you want to avoid this situation, it is recommended to ensure stable working conditions, and try to arrange a special person to monitor the use of the equipment to avoid idling.

2. Strong pull degaussing

The main reason is that the components in the pump body are abnormal during operation, such as the stuck inner magnet and impeller, which makes the pump unable to jump immediately, and the continuous operation of the motor causes the outer magnet to continue to run, making the inner and outer magnetic cylinders demagnetized. In this regard, it is recommended to optimize the operating parameters according to the actual process requirements, and regularly check the aging and wear of the pump body components.

The common reasons for the demagnetization of the magnetic pump are the above two. In addition, too much material containing iron filings in the transport medium will also cause the pump to demagnetize. Increase maintenance costs and slow down projects.
